The following national support groups are available to people who may be struggling with loss or other hardships. Your funeral director can offer additional information at your request.

A.M.E.N.D. (AIDING A MOTHER & FATHER EXPERIENCING NEO-NATAL DEATH)
AMEND is a free counseling service available to parents who have experienced the loss of an infant through miscarriage, stillbirth or neo-natal death. Contact Maureen Connelly, 314-487-7582.

. ANNIE'S HOPE - BEREAVEMENT CENTER FOR KIDS
Annie's Hope is a support program for young people and their families comprised of support groups, a camp, resource people and a lending library. Meetings are various times during the year at 422 S. BEGINNING AGAIN
This group is for those who have experienced a loss by death or divorce. Eight-week sessions meet at various times during the year at Manchester United Methodist Church, 129 Woods Mill Road, Manchester, MO 63011. Contact Ellen Friesen 636-532-1111.

BEREAVED PARENTS OF THE USA
A self-help organization offering friendship and understanding to bereaved parents. Meetings are at various times and places. Call 314-878-0890 for general information or referral to a specific group. www.bpusastl.org

A weekly support group for persons who need understanding and help in coping with a loss through death. Meetings are Tuesday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, 3031 N. Ballas Road, Town & Country, MO 63131. Contact Rena Ridenour, 314-996-5105.

GOOD GRIEF - Living Through Grief and Loss with Hope
A weekly support group for anyone experiencing the death of a loved one. Weekly meetings are in the Sister's Living Room, Forest Park Hospital, 6150 Oakland Ave., St. Louis, MO 63139. Contact Chaplain Betty Logan, 314-768-3003.

GRIEF CONFERENCE
A support group series, which meets twice a year at St. Luke's Hospital, 232 S. Woods Mill Rd., Chesterfield, MO 63017. Contact Linda Handyside, 314-729-4417.

GRIEF SHARE
A support group meeting for thirteen weeks, for those who have experienced the death of a loved one. Meetings are the first & third Tuesday of the month at 7 p.m. at St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 601 E. Claymont Dr., Ballwin, MO 63011. Contact Rev. Kristy Forbes, 636-394-2233. THE KID'S CLUBHOUSE, offered by ENDINGS & BEGINNINGS
Two eight-session support groups (Spring & Fall), for ages 4 and 5, 6 to 12, and teens. An adult group meets concurrently. These professionally-led bereavement groups will meet the unique needs of children & teens. Contact the office for information: Paivi Tetri, 314-721-1144.

MERCY FRIENDS
Mercy Friends is a self-help support group centered on general grief topics. Meetings are the second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 7 p.m. at St. John's Mercy Medical Center - Pastoral Service Office, 615 South New Ballas Rd., Creve Coeur, MO 63141. Contact Marlys Allen, 314-569-6470.

MERCY HEARTPRINTS

PARENTS OF MURDERED CHILDREN

S.H.A.R.E.
SHARE offers comfort and mutual reassurance to parents who have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth or the loss of a newborn. Meetings are the second Thursday of the month, 7:30-9:30 p.m. at St. Mary's Health Center Cafeteria, Meeting Room C, 1027 Bellevue Ave., Richmond Heights, MO 63117. Contact Laura Hely 314-768-8349.   SHARING LOSSES THROUGH BEREAVEMENT
A support group for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one. Meetings are the first and third Monday of the month, 1 p.m., at St. Joseph Hospital, 525 Couch Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122. Contact Maureen Fox, 314-989-2813.

S.I.D.S. (SUDDEN INFANT DEATH SYNDROME) PARENT SUPPORT GROUP
A support group for parents of SIDS victims, which offers a wide spectrum of services. Meetings are monthly at 143 Grant Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122. Contact Sarah Price, 314-822-2323.

S.I.D.S. RESOURCE, INC.

A support group for adolescents who need understanding and help in coping with a loss through death. THEOS (THEY HELP EACH OTHER SPIRITUALLY)

THEOS - YOUNG WIDOWED GROUP, UNDER 50 YEARS OLD

WIDOWED PERSONS SERVICE OF ST. LOUIS
WPS is a community advocate for the widowed, providing referral information and assistance in matters such as employment, finances, legal affairs, housing, meals, etc. One-on-one contact with trained volunteers is also available. Contact Ellen Dirnberger, 314-962-1705.
