n 1968, Dr. Favors worked in Chicago as a Pharmacist at Walgreens where he met the love of his life, the beautiful Velma Robinson, while filling her prescription. That fated encounter at Walgreens was the start of their world-wind romance. Shortly, thereafter; the couple started dating and married on August 17, 1969.  After tying the knot, the two left Chicago hand in hand on a 2-day train ride with a footlocker trunk that held everything they owned to set out for Seattle where Dr. Favors started medical school.  Dr. Favors received his Medical Degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1973.

On March 2, 1975, the Favors family welcomed a beautiful baby girl, and they named her Latecia Renee Favors. They were ecstatic about her birth and the growth of their family.

It is a historical and inspirational story of his 40-year journey to capture the majesty, deep bonds of resilience, achievements, determination, excellence and strong spiritual faith of his ancestors. All these attributes are depicted in the life Dr. Favors lived.
