Obituary

Alice Mae McClusky Renn, passed away unexpectedly on June 10, 2026, in Eureka, Missouri at the age of 74.

Alice was the daughter of Dell Raymond McClusky and Ruth Dell Boyer McClusky Baggett, born May 24th, 1952. She grew up moving frequently up and down the West Coast, finally graduating from Roosevelt High School in Fresno, California in 1970.

In 1972, Alice married Gregory Renn and resumed traveling, including living several years in Germany while Greg was stationed there. They welcomed their first child, Holly Ann Renn, on March 25, 1974, and their second, Joseph Gregory Renn, on March 25, 1978. Alice did an amazing job juggling birthday parties well into their teenage years. They settled in Eureka, Missouri in December of 1982, and Alice made it home until her passing.

Soon after arriving in Missouri, Alice began working for Southwestern Bell and ultimately found her passion working with computers. Her warm personality and clear communication skills served her well in working with people in a support capacity throughout her career. Her sharp mind allowed her to make a jump into information technology before completing any formal training and made her indispensable in her field.

Alice was an amazing mother, grandmother, and friend, making people laugh and feel loved effortlessly. She had a sharp sense of humor, her laugh was loud and infectious, and her wacky way of looking at the world when she knew you needed a laugh kept you on your toes. She made people feel at home, creating a warm and loving space wherever she went. She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely, with strong momma bear tendencies and gave the absolute best hugs in the world.

Alice is survived by her children, Holly Renn and Joe Renn; her grandchildren, Serena Jones, Branden Jones, Kadin Renn, Andy Stalemo-Jones, Alexia Morganti, Caitlin Morganti, Maddox Renn, Emily Renn, and Violet Renn; her great-granddaughter Delilah Renn; her brother, Ronald McClusky; her nieces Prudence Ratliff and Lynda McClusky; and her nephews Daniel Ratliff, Gary McClusky, and Douglas McClusky.

Those who knew Alice will remember her hugs, her skill at telling a story, and her unwavering and fierce love of her kids and grandkids. She was always there when you needed her, and a wealth of knowledge and love. Her legacy of love, support, and laughter will live on in her children and grandchildren and in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
