Obituary

Allie Rebecca Colvett (nee Lowe), passed away Friday, May 15, 2026, at the age of 101.

Born in Coal Hill, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Robert Don and Peggy (nee Wages) Lowe. Allie attended Walnut Ridge Baptist College and worked for 25 years at Sefton Fibre, Can and Plastics Division in Kirkwood. She also greatly enjoyed working as a substitute teacher, where she touched the lives of many students over the years. A woman of deep faith, Allie was a long time member of Ballwin Baptist Church, now known as The Rock Church, and remained devoted to her faith throughout her life.

Allie loved spending time with her family, and visits from loved ones brought her tremendous joy. She was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and rarely missed watching a game. She loved playing washers and was proud to have won the Senior Olympics in the sport she enjoyed so much.

She also had a passion for tap dancing, line dancing, playing cards, and staying active with friends through Norma's Syncopated Seniors. Her joyful spirit, energy, and love of life were evident to everyone who knew her.

Allie was the beloved wife of the late Cletus J. Colvett, who preceded her in death on October 24, 1995. She was the dear mother of Cleta (the late Paul) Agosta, the late Cathy Ann Colvett, and the late Sharon (the late Ed) Dauster.

She was the loving grandmother of Pamela (Mark) Blaylock, Angela (Bob) Knope, Robert (Jeanne) Dauster, Jason (Carrie) Dauster, Nicholas Agosta, and the late James Agosta. She was also the proud great-grandmother of Cameren Agosta, Brendan Lunt, Bryan (Makaila) Blaylock, Brandon (Tori) Blaylock, Jackson Knope, Sharon (Arthur Hollinshed) Dauster, Dustin Dauster, Justin (Emily) Dauster, Andrew Dauster, and Breanna (Wesley) Scoular; and dear great-great-grandmother of Winnie and Lincoln Scoular, Ryan Blaylock, and Brayden, Brylee, Bryson Blaylock and Olivia Dauster.

In addition to her parents and husband, Allie was preceded in death by two daughters, a grandson, two sons-in-law, eight brothers, and one sister.

Allie will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to family, her joyful spirit, and the love she shared so freely with others. Her kindness, strength, laughter, and enduring love of life leave a lasting legacy that will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
