Annette Elizabeth
(Weible) Westmoreland
Jun 24, 1960 — Dec 23, 2025
Ballwin
Annette Elizabeth (Weible) Westmoreland, 65, passed away on December 23, 2025. Annette was diagnosed with ALS on June 9, 2023. She and her husband, Chris, courageously battled this disease for two and a half years until she peacefully passed away at their home in Ballwin, Missouri.
Annette was born on June 24, 1960, in St. Louis, Missouri. She was the third of ten children born to James and Joyce (Wilde) Weible.
Annette married Christopher Westmoreland on July 25, 1981, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. Together they raised three sons: Kyle (Michele) Westmoreland, Cory Westmoreland, and Brett (Raegan) Westmoreland. In 2024, Annette was overjoyed to learn that Brett and Raegan were expecting her first grandchild. In 2025, she was blessed with her grandson, Mitchell Christopher Westmoreland, who brought her immense joy.
Annette deeply loved her family and truly loved life. She was rarely without a camera, capturing photos and videos at every family event. An incredibly talented seamstress, Annette could sew almost anything. Her most cherished creations included her children's Halloween costumes, her famous Santa sacks, and the many beautiful quilts inspired by her beloved Grandma Anna.
Annette especially loved Christmas. She joyfully decorated nearly every inch of her home, baked delicious cookies, and hosted her oversized family's Christmas Eve celebration-often leaving decorations up until March. She was also a devoted St. Louis Blues fan and even made "Blues" clothing for her beloved dogs. Above all, Annette treasured time spent with her family, whether at Disney World, holiday gatherings, the Wilde farm, WeibleFest, birthday celebrations, family weddings, or camping trips. Each memory was lovingly preserved through her photographs. Her family misses her dearly, and she will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
Annette is survived by her nine siblings: Justine (Keith) Angle, Cynthia (John) Walsh, Donna (Vincent) Kulage, Deanna (Martin) Duffy, Peggy (Byron) Luber, Sandra (Gregory) Schwarztrauber, Daniel (Lindsay) Weible, Kristi (Del) Cloninger, and Brad (Beckie) Weible.
She is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews: Nicholas (Stephanie) Angle, Benjamin (Jane) Angle, Katherine (Blake) Fehl, Conor Walsh, Cody Walsh, Maura Walsh, Devin Walsh, Todd (Tiffany) Kulage, Douglas Kulage, Ronan Duffy, Maeve Duffy, Jack Luber, Kane Luber, Megan Schwarztrauber, Kylar Kennedy, Eva Cloninger, Jane Weible, Neve Weible, and Gwen Weible. Annette was preceded in death by her beloved niece, Megan Theresa Kulage. She is also survived by 13 great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services: Annette's life will be privately celebrated by her family. Her final resting place will be Our Lady Cemetery and Crematorium in Lake St. Louis, Missouri.
