Arlene Lucille (Futyma) Farbaniec

Arlene Lucille (Futyma) Farbaniec, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away at the age of 85, leaving behind a lifetime of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Arlene was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her son, Chris; and her nephew, Tim Rokose. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Miller (Mitch) and Suzanne Foster (Bill); her grandchildren, Grayson and Seth Miller, Aubrey (Owen), Katie, and Sarah Foster, and Aubrey Ellinger; her sister, Diane Rokose (Joe); and her nephew, Jeff.

Born and raised in New Jersey, Arlene's love story with her husband, Richard, began when they met in eighth grade. What started as a young school romance grew into a lifelong relationship filled with love, friendship, and shared adventures. Together, they enjoyed dancing, bowling, traveling, and sharing the simple pleasures of life.

Arlene was a kind, generous, and funny woman who had a special way of bringing warmth and laughter to those around her. She loved entertaining and hosting parties, bringing family and friends together for good times and celebrations. She had a gift for making people feel welcome and knew how to make any gathering special.

Professionally, Arlene worked as an executive secretary. She took great pride in her work and enjoyed a career that included Esso in New Jersey, AT&T, and Lucent. She was known for her professionalism, organization, attention to detail, and dedication. She was someone others could depend on, and she carried herself with pride and grace throughout her working years.

In her spare time, Arlene enjoyed expressing her creativity through ceramics and crocheting beautiful afghans. Her handmade creations were a reflection of her thoughtfulness and love, and they will remain treasured keepsakes for the family.

Those who knew Arlene will remember her kindness, generosity, laughter, love of entertaining, and her unmistakable favorite saying: "We'll see." Those two little words became part of who she was and will undoubtedly bring smiles and laughter whenever her family remembers her.

Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Angel Black, who served as Arlene's caregiver over the past year. Angel showed Arlene tremendous compassion and empathy and provided her with exceptional care. Her kindness and dedication meant more than words can express, and the family will be forever grateful.

And whenever the Eagles or Creedence Clearwater Revival play, someone dances a polka, or a family member says, "We'll see," there will always be a little piece of Arlene in that moment.

Rest peacefully, Mom. Thank you for the love, the laughter, the celebrations, and the memories. You were loved beyond measure and will never be forgotten.
