Audrey Mae
Wolf Zeuschel
Apr 9, 1927 — Jul 30, 2026
Ballwin
Surrounded by her family, Audrey Mae Wolf Zeuschel passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2026. She was only 99. Surely, she has rejoined our dad, Jack Zeuschel, to whom she had a loving marriage of 62 years. We are confident they are toasting their reunion and planning a trip somewhere.
Born in St. Louis, MO, she was raised in University City by her parents Dillie and John Wolf Jr alongside her brother John III. She received a degree in Accounting at Washington University and was employed there until marrying in 1952.
A great mom, she never failed to be there to listen, laugh or advise. She was kind, smart and always tried to do what she felt was right. She loved her family above all else and kept busy by researching her genealogy, volunteering, gardening, and reading to name a few. She was amazing at putting puzzles together that no one else wanted to attempt.
She is missed by her four children, Bob (Jennifer) Zeuschel, Carole Grover, Debbie (Tom) Odlum and Liz (Mike) Ashley. She was a grandmother of ten: Beth LaRusso, John Zeuschel III, Jack, Will and Bobby Grover, Angela Odlum and Hope, Nathan, Christopher and Grace Ashley.
Also, she was a great grandmother to six (almost 7): Mariah Zeuschel, Henry and Abigail Grover, Virginia and Wilhelmina Luken, Alexander Grover and soon to be born, Simon Ashley.
She was loved, and she will be missed.
Family will raise a toast to her later this month in a private celebration of a life well lived.
