Stephens, Cathie Gail (nee Hunt), passed away, Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late David Stephens; dear mother of Frank Stephens and stepmother of Carol Carlisle; loving grandmother of Nicole Carlisle, Joel Stephens and Samantha Stephens; aunt of Jamie Randle and Shannon Moody. Mother-in-law of Melissa Smith. Our dear sister-in-law, great-aunt, cousin and friend.

Cathie was proceeded in death by her parents Joel and Wilma Hunt. Along with her beloved sister Sue McGinley.

Cathie was devoted to her family who cherished time spent with her loved ones and found peace in drinking her morning coffee by the pool enjoying nature. Born and raised in the mountains of Young Harris, Georgia, Cathie later made her home in Eureka, Missouri.

Cathie earned her associate degree in nursing from Meramec Community College and worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Mary’s Hospital in the Surgery Recovery, Cardiac, and Trauma Units, dedicating herself to caring for others.

She will be deeply missed by her loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
