Coffman, Charles "Chuck", passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of sixty-five years to Marilyn Coffman; father of Richard (Lisa), Ron (Shelley) and Randy (Sharon); grandfather of Travis (Courtney) Coffman, Sarah (Justin) Backhaus, Josh (Carole) Coffman, Logan Coffman, Josie Coffman, Blake Coffman, Kelsey (Ben) Breitenbach, Cody (Shannon) Coffman, and Katie (Zac) Lunn; great-grandfather of fourteen; great-great-grandfather of two; brother of the late Charlotte Sportsman; dear uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Chuck was a Navy veteran and retired Ladue police lieutenant who served for eighteen years. He enjoyed woodworking, painting, camping, and spending time with friends and family. He is loved by many.

Services: Funeral service at St. Thomas United Church of Christ, 17836 Wild Horse Creek Road, Chesterfield 63005, Wednesday, August 5, 11:00 a.m. Interment Bethel Cemetery - Labadie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Old Bethel , P.O. Box 82, Labadie, MO 63055, American Legion Post 218 , 1007 E. 3rd St., Washington, MO 63090 or St. Thomas United Church of Christ , 17836 Wild Horse Creek Road, Chesterfield 63005 . Visitation at the church, 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
