Schmidt, Dana Beth (nee Groff) entered into Heaven on Monday, March 23, 2026.

Dana was the beloved wife of William Howard "Bill" Schmidt. Dearest mother of Chris (Heather) Schmidt and Corey Schmidt; devoted sister of Drue (Duane) Kory; sister-in-law of Lynda (Paul) Auer and James "Jim" (Ruth) Schmidt. Dana was a dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert & June Groff; her in-laws Adolph & Rose Ann Schmidt, and brother Dirk Groff.

Dana will be remembered for her love of baking, spoiling her canine companions and her beautiful garden. Dana's final act of kindness was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
