Diana Ramsey
(Nee Rivera)
Apr 24, 1941 — Feb 9, 2026
Ballwin
Ramsey, Diana (nee Rivera), 84, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away peacefully at home with her husband and beloved companion of 45 years, Ron, holding hands as they always did. Diana, daughter of Paula (Duran) and Raymond Rivera, sister of the late Raymond Rivera, lived a life defined by her love of God, unlimited devotion to Mary, unconditional love of family, and compassion to all those she encountered. She never missed an opportunity to witness her strong faith, and allow those around her to feel the strength of her deeply rooted devotion.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ron Ramsey, her partner in life and love, her sister Linda Toia, along with many relatives and beloved friends. In addition, Diana was a proud and loving mother of our blended family, Robert (Julie) Binning and children Henry and Grae, Shelley (Jim) Hritz and children Kody and Nikki, Wayne Binning (the late Patricia) and children Alyssa and Robert, Dawn (nee Ramsey) (John) Tremain and children Ben, Brendon, Abby and Allison, and Daniel (Stephanie) Ramsey, daughter Kate.
Her devotion to our Blessed Mother and love for the Holy Family began soon after losing her mother, at the age of four. She began her lifelong relationship with Mary, who became her "mommy". She grew this relationship by surrounding herself, with Mary's love and intercession with Jesus. People around her could feel the strength of her unwavering faith. She nourished her faith, everyday, through her dedicated prayer life. Two of her many quoted she lived by are, "Oh Jesus, I surrender myself to you! Take care of everything" and "The Joy of my Lord is my strength". Diana will be missed for her affectionate and loving nature, gentle smile, and of course her sweet and spicy personality. She was a powerful prayer warrior for many. She welcomed, and even invited people to ask for her prayers. And her prayers always worked according to God's Will.
