Obituary

Donald L. Kueker, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, artist, and man of deep faith, passed away after a life marked by creativity, conviction, and devotion to those he loved. He was born on July 9, 1932.

Don is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Margie; his daughters, Carol, Sandra, and Jennifer; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his children, Glenn, Eric, Elaine, grandchild Randy and his first wife Betty.

Don was a complex man who was known for speaking his mind and holding strong convictions. At times, his direct manner could make him seem challenging to those who didn't know him well. Yet those closest to him knew a different side, a generous man who quietly gave of himself, whose loyalty ran deep, and whose love for his family was steadfast, even if he didn't always express it in conventional ways.

A man of deep Christian faith, Don was an active and respected member of his church for many years. He faithfully shared his time and talents with his church community, finding purpose in serving both God and others.

Don's artistic talent defined much of his professional life. As an accomplished illustrator and fine artist, he built a distinguished career creating work admired for its imagination, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. Even after retiring he continued to paint and create, leaving behind a remarkable body of work that reflects both his extraordinary skill and his lifelong passion for art.

Those who knew Don best will remember a man of strong principles, unwavering dedication, and quiet generosity. While his personality could sometimes be misunderstood, beneath his gruff exterior was a caring heart that revealed itself through his actions more often than his words.

Don leaves behind a lasting legacy in the family he cherished, the faith that guided him, the church he faithfully served, and the artwork that will continue to inspire future generations. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of truly knowing him.
