Obituary

Francisco "Frank" Jose Alvillar, passed away, Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

Beloved son of Francisco Alvillar Valbuena and Haydee Herrera de Alvillar, father of Andrea (Gerardo) Alvillar, Stephanie Alvillar, Samantha Alvillar, and Joseph Alvillar. Living girlfriend Esperanza Delgado. Proud abuelociso of Sophia Valentina. He is also a cherished nephew of numerous tios y tias, countless primos and many friends.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of a devoted partner, father, and friend, whose life was defined by resilience, love, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Born into humble beginnings, Frank was raised by his mother after the loss of his father at the age of 8 years old. He was surrounded by the strength and support of la familia Alvillar y Herrera. Frank grew up quickly, learning responsibility early in life. By the age of 9, his mother was already teaching him how to drive and instilling independence. Since it was always just the two of them, they had an unbreakable bond that kept him strongly supported until the end.

At the age of 16, Frank attended military school, an experience that helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and sense of responsibility- qualities that would define him throughout his life. The friends he met during this time became lifelong brothers, and they forever remained in touch.

In 1994, Frank immigrated to the United States with his girlfriend at the time Molly, to begin a new chapter. Their journey led them from Florida to St. Louis, where they built a life together. In 1998, they got married and went on to raise their family in Eureka, creating a home grounded in love, unity, and strong morals.

Above all, Frank was a father in the truest sense. He was selfless, frugal, and wholly devoted to his children. He gave everything he had to ensure their well-being and happiness. As a parent, he was an exemplary teacher- present, involved, and deeply passionate. He never missed an event, always showing up with pride, encouragement, and unconditional love for not only his children, but many others as well. His presence was a constant source of strength and guidance for everyone he encountered.

Frank's faith was central to his life, as he was an active member of the Sacred Heart Eureka Parish and Saint Joseph Catholic Church. He generously gave his time through volunteering and coaching youth sports, including, basketball, softball, and football. He believed in building character through teamwork and mentorship, leaving a lasting impact on the many young lives he touched.

Frank had a deep love for the water and the beach, often dreaming of one day returning to Florida. He found joy in simple pleasures- barbecuing, listening to music like salsa and merengue, and spending time with those he loved. His vibrant personality was impossible to miss. He was expressive, loud, playful, and often a goofball, with a sarcastic sense of humor that could brighten any room. He loved to make others smile and lived by a simple but powerful motto: "Life is good, I can't complain."

Frank's work ethic was unmatched. From working in restaurants in Florida to cleaning homes and doing yard work in St. Louis, he approached every job with pride and determination. He founded JF Scape Solutions in 2006, building a loyal client base, remodeling bathrooms, basements, and homes with detailed skill and care.

Frank has been a member of the Venezuelan Association since it was founded in 2001, maintaining a strong connection to his roots all while integrating into a new environment. The pride he had in his culture was a significant part of understanding who he was, as he never failed to pay homage to his origins.

Frank will be deeply missed by his mother, children, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He is now reunited with his loyal companion, Toby, who will greet him in heaven. His legacy of love, laughter, faith, and hard work will live on forever.
