Obituary

Huebner, Frank A., asleep in Jesus, Monday, December 15, 2025.

Beloved husband of Margaret Huebner (née Reilly); dearest father of Frank (Joe) Huebner-Nations, Kurt (Sandy) Huebner, Maria (Scott) Geringer and Melissa (Dave) Trentmann; dear grandfather of Austin Huebner, Brody DeNike, Anthony Huebner-Nations, Chase Huebner, Kaylie Trentmann and Paige Trentmann; loving son of the late Fred and Frieda Huebner (née Storz); brother of the late John (Betty) Huebner and Laverne (Richard) Bauer; uncle of Fred (Nancy), Tony, Kenny and the late Bill Huebner; our dear brother-in-law and friend of many.

Frank, a devoted husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.  He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Frank dedicated his life to his family.  He was a pillar of strength and guidance, always ready with a helping hand or words of encouragement. He always had a smile on his face and could make anybody laugh. His greatest pride was his children and grandchildren, whose lives he enriched with wisdom, humor, and unwavering support.  Frank was known for his tireless work ethic.  Everything he did was done with diligence and integrity.  His commitment to providing for his family and serving others was evident in all he did. First, he was an elder at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Glencoe, and then a devoted member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Fenton. Frank's spirituality and commitment to God was a guiding light in his life. Beyond his work, Frank found joy in everything outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, working in the yard, simply breathing in the fresh air and feeling the warmth of the sun on his skin.  The outdoors was his sanctuary, where he found peace. One of his greatest joys was being there for his grandchildren. He could almost always be found watching from the sidelines at their games, applauding at their concerts, and attending the many special events in their lives. He never ever missed a "Hot Dog Day". Frank proudly described himself as "Built Ford Tough". It was a reflection of his enduring spirit and his lifelong passion for Ford trucks and cars. He took great pride in his model collection and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of it with family and friends.  His enthusiasm for Ford was more than a hobby, it was a part of his identity and a testament to his resilience. Those who knew him will remember his love for Ford and how it mirrored the strength and steadfastness he carried throughout his life. Frank's memory will live on in the hearts of all of those who loved him.  His life was a testament to devotion, perseverance and the beauty of living with gratitude.  He is survived by his loving wife, his children, and his grandchildren, all of whom will carry forward his legacy of love and strength.
