Filsinger, Fred G., passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, at the age of 73.

Beloved husband for fifty-one years of Chris (nee Schultz); father of Emily Filsinger (and partner John Szyhowski) and Dan (Amanda) Filsinger; brother of Carla (Eddie) Moxham; dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin, fraternity brother, and friend to many.

Fred grew up in Haworth, New Jersey where he graduated from Northern Valley Regional High School. He made many friends and enjoyed being the anchor of the school's track team. He then went on to study engineering at Parks College in St. Louis, Missouri. He was an active member of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity. Upon graduation, he earned a position with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing in aviation design and defense for the entirety of his career. He contributed to several patents and industry breakthroughs, earning lifelong friendships along the way. Outside of work, he enjoyed vacations with family, a great meal with friends and keeping in touch with all those who brought so much joy to his life.

Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, August 1, 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
