Obituary

Klevorn, Geraldine I.
It is fitting that in this season of Light and Peace, Geraldine (Gerry) I. Klevorn has moved to her heavenly home and is reunited with her husband Bernard George Klevorn, her parents Ida & Arnold Clement, her sisters and brothers Jackie (Dan) Buckley, Arline (Lee) Haney, Arnold (Sue) Clement, Donald Clement, and her parents-in-law Bernard (Grace) Klevorn and brother-in-law David Schmitt.

During her 92 years, our mother lived her life with humility and love. Mom always kept her family and the needs of others as the core of her heart. Most of all she wanted peace - amongst her family, her friends, her neighbors and in the world. She truly lived by the words of one of her favorite songs: "Let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me."

She graduated from Coyle High School and attended Webster University prior to her marriage in 1955. She had a long and happy career at Moog Automotive and the Special School District of St. Louis County.

Gerry is survived by her brother William (Sue) Clement, her sister-in law Karen Schmitt, and brother & sister-in-law David (Marie) Klevorn.

She will be deeply missed by her sons Thomas (Virginia), Peter (Kathy), Joseph (Kathy), Andrew (Dietrich), John & Tara, and Phillip (Denise) Klevorn; beloved grandchildren Paul (Lauryn), Claire (Dave) Eickholt, George (Ana), Sarah (Erik) Dane, Matthew, Mark, Adam (Eugenia) Zoellner, Claire Zoellner (Francisco Leal), Grace (Alejandro) Ruiz, Olivia, Helena, Anna, Bernard, Maria; her seven joyful great-grandchildren and many dear cousins, nieces and nephews.

To honor our mother, enjoy time with your family, play cards with friends, connect with old high school classmates, enjoy a night at the theater, help a neighbor, or thank a firefighter for saving a family and their home. In your quiet time, read a newspaper, enjoy doing a jigsaw or crossword puzzle. At the end of the day, take time to pause and give gratitude for the many blessings you have received. Smile and be kind.

Services:  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Manchester, Missouri on Friday, January 23, 2026 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at the church for one hour prior to the Mass. The entire Klevorn family extends their sincere gratitude to the devoted staff at Laclede Groves in Webster Groves, Missouri for their care and attention to our mother during her stay with you. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to National Psoriasis Foundation or to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation . As a service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
