Jack L.
Clark
May 12, 1941 — Jun 9, 2026
Wildwood
Jack L. Clark (85), baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Jack passed away peacefully at his home on June 9, 2026.
Jack enjoyed everything creative; he furthered his love of photography through his involvement in the St. Louis Camera Club. After joining in 1980 he built his own darkroom in his home to develop his pictures. His specialty was black and white photography. As his art progressed, he entered print competitions, assisted young photographers with tips on how to improve their images, and led fall photography trips to different areas in the State of Missouri. His photography also took him on trips out of state and out of the country, and his photos hang in the homes of family and friends.
Jack's professional career was in the sales world, and his greatest business achievement was the owner of a sign and graphics company called The DeSignery in Clayton, Missouri. He combined his business skills with his artistic vision and enjoyed the day-to-day with his creative employees. Upon his retirement he sold the business and it is still prospering today.
Family was the core of Jack's being. Jack is survived by his wife Karen, his daughter Amy, his son-in-law Jeffrey Martin, his granddaughters Claire and Ellie, and his nephew Ron DuBuque. He was predeceased by his parents Vernon Clark, Thelma (Cain) Clark, his sister Judy DuBuque, and his son John who passed away in 2022. His love and legacy will live on in his AA group of 38 years, his fellow camera club members, and his many lifelong friends.
Services: A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alban Roe Catholic Church, 200l Shepard Road, Wildwood, MO 63038 on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will be served following the Mass.
