Gandlmayr, Dr. Jacob M., passed away, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Jacob was born on July 14, 1927 in Salzburg, Austria to the late Jakob and Marianne Gandlmayr (nee Angermayr).

Beloved husband for 70 years of the late Benita M. Gandlmayr; loving father of Michael J.(Dawn) Gandlmayr, Christopher A. (the late Sharon) Gandlmayr, Stephen M. (Carmen) Gandlmayr and Maria D. (Mark Landis) Pylipow; dear grandfather of Alex, Jake, Michael, Matt, Maren, Josh, Melissa and Lucas; brother of the late Anita Kissinger; loving son-in-law of the late Dr. Andrew and Lily Signorelli; loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jacob loved his family first and foremost. He was a devoted husband, father, and Opa! He was an incredible physician dedicated to his practice and patients for over 60 years. Jacob was an engineer at heart; he could fix and build anything he set his mind to. He enjoyed tinkering in the yard and finishing projects to keep his beloved wife happy! His sense of humor often caught us off guard. His love of travel gave him the desire to see the world and in doing so he studied countless hours to learn the culture and the languages of the places visited. Jacob was an incredibly intelligent, organized, and studious man who happily passed these traits on to his family. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

Services: Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, October 24, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. leaving in procession to Christ, Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 415 Weidman Rd, Manchester, for a 11:00 a.m. Mass.
