Dr. James L. Pansch went to heaven, at the age of 85, Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Born in Racine, Wisconsin to Louis A. and Jeanette (Shuman) Pansch, beloved husband for 62 years of Nora Pansch; devoted father of Paris Disper, Sonia (Gregg) Kitzelman, and Kelly (Kevin) Boyd; cherished grandfather (Pops) of Taylor Disper, Lauren Disper, and favorite grandson Austin Disper; dear uncle, cousin, and friend.

Jim spent over a decade pursuing his passion for academics in higher education. He completed his undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin and went on to Marquette University School of Dentistry to become a board-certified Prosthodontist. Jim also served as an adjunct professor at Washington University School of Dentistry, where he played a pioneering role in the field of dental implants.

Beyond the scope of his profession, Jim was a man of faith. He was active in his local church as a deacon and treasurer. Jim was an avid sports enthusiast. He enjoyed wrestling, playing football, baseball and golf. He was a lifelong Packer Backer & stockholder. In the words of the great Vince Lombardi "Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all-time thing."  In addition, his favorite hobby was train collecting, an interest he shared with his father.

Jim will be missed but knowing that he is at peace, and we will see him again in heaven makes us smile.

Services: Memorial visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of Service at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Stray Rescue of Saint Louis .  Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
