Obituary

James Michael Wall, of Ballwin, Missouri, known to many as Jim, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2026. He was born on December 19, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Edwin and Beulah Wall.

Jim was the proud owner of Quality Business Forms, the company he founded in 1975 and successfully led for more than 40 years. He took great pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career.

Jim was previously married to Diane Muhlke (maiden name Rotter), with whom he had five children: Angie (Todd) Kimmel of St. Louis, Missouri; Vicki (Hunter) McDonald of Dyersburg, Tennessee; Jimmy (Amanda) Wall of Denver, Colorado; Julie Koranteng of Dallas, Texas; and Michael (Grace) Wall of Denver, Colorado; as well as 14 grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy.

A proud patriot, Jim honorably served in the United States Army and the Army Reserves.

Jim loved spending time on the golf course, especially at his home courses, Forest Hills Country Club and Hidden Valley in the St. Louis suburbs. He was fortunate to play many of the country's finest courses and achieved every golfer's dream-a hole in one. He was also a devoted fan of baseball and the St. Louis Cardinals, and he cherished coaching his children's tee-ball teams.

A true extrovert, Jim never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He especially treasured time with his children and grandchildren, never lacking sage advice or a funny quip.

Jim was always a sharp dresser and enjoyed shopping, traveling, classic cars, fine dining, and securing the best seat in the house. While he appreciated the finer things in life, he also found happiness in simple pleasures-a great patio, a good view, Ted Drewes ice cream, White Castle, grape jelly, black licorice, and Cherry Coke.

Jim received Jesus as his Lord & Savior and the family takes comfort in knowing he is enjoying the glory of Heaven now.
