Janine Mary Lewis

Lewis, Janine Mary, passed away, Saturday, November 7, 2026. Loving daughter of the late John C. and Mary Lu Lewis. Beloved sister of Tim (Carolyn) Lewis, Dan (Tina) Lewis, Patti (Jim) Barnes and the late Terry Lewis. Sister in law of Christie Lewis. Aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Janine brought a special kind of joy and love into the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Although she experienced the world differently than most of us, she taught us some of life’s greatest lessons without ever having to say a word.

Through her presence, smiles, dancing and the joy she brought to others, Janine taught us patience, compassion, acceptance, and understanding. She opened our hearts and reminded us to look beyond disabilities, appreciate each person’s unique gifts, and recognize the beauty in everyone.

Perhaps her greatest gift was teaching us how to be better people. Janine was a blessing to our family and our lives are richer for having had Janine in them. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten

Services: Funeral service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. Interment PRIVATE. If desired, contributions may be made to Emmaus Homes. Visitation Wednesday 10am until time of service.
