Shepard, Jennifer Lynn (nee Marty), baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Saturday, October 17, 2026. She was born in St. Louis County, the daughter of Russell and Carolyn (nee Loewe) Marty. Jennifer was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and worked in the Department of Family Services with the State of Missouri.
Jen loved her sons, Logan and Tyler, more than anything else. She cherished family get-together's and meeting up with friends for a night out. She loved helping children and families through her work and delighted in her co-workers. She and Bill recently celebrated their 25th anniversary with a long awaited cruise where they created lasting memories. She savored fall when the leaves changed colors and enjoyed driving around looking at Christmas lights. Her happy place was sitting on her deck at home, enjoying every season of the year.
She is the beloved wife of William "Bill" Shepard; dear mother of Logan Michael Shepard and Tyler Matthew Shepard; loving daughter of Carolyn Marty; proud sister of Jeffery (Janet) Marty, Christopher (Jaime Garner) Marty, Tricia (Don) Haut, and Bryan (Meghan) Gaskin; dear daughter-in-law of Mike and Debbie Shepard; plus, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Russell and Barb Marty.
