Obituary

Hosch, Jenny Ann (nee Skinner), baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

Beloved wife of Gregg W. Hosch. Loving mother of Sara (Brett) Eaves, Kelly (Joe) Lovas and Ben (Mary Hollenbach) Hosch. Proud grandma of Brayden and Calder Eaves. Dearest daughter of Sue Skinner and the late James Skinner. Dear sister of David Skinner and John (Suzanne) Skinner. Treasured daughter-in-law of Margaret Dale and the late Robert Hosch. Adored sister-in-law of Michael (Christine) Dale. Fun aunt, cousin and friend of many.

Jenny was born in St. Charles, IL and moved to St. Louis with her family in 1965. She attended Parkway West High School and the University of Missouri, majoring in Education. Over the course of 11 years, she taught in Oak Grove, MO, Blue Springs, MO, Downers Grove, IL and for the Special School District at Lafayette High School. She and Gregg were college sweethearts and married in 1983. She was an adoring mother and friend to her three children and found an even deeper role as Grandma. The thoughtfulness and kindness she showed her friends is legendary. Having Jenny around made every day better.

Jenny was very involved in support of the schools, community activities and too many charities to name. She had a special affinity for Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital and the Ronald McDonald House, where she was a frequent volunteer.

Jenny was an accomplished cook and hostess, taking many classes and even teaching a few. She was at her finest when hosting a large group at home.

Jenny brought so much love and happiness to everyone she met. She fought her disease with her typical fortitude and wit.

She is at peace. Remember her.
