In Memory of
Joan Marie (nee Kraft) Linenbroker
Obituary
Joan Marie (Kraft) Linenbroker, affectionately known as Joannie, passed away peacefully on August 22, 2025, at Manor Grove Nursing Home in Kirkwood, Missouri. Born on September 30, 1944, in St. Louis, Missouri, Joannie faced dementia in these last few years, which gradually took her speech. She departed this world as quietly and serenely as she lived.
Family
Joannie is survived by her sons and stepchildren: Michael (Kara) Linenbroker, Mathew (Kimberly) Linenbroker, and Christopher (Carrie) Linenbroker, all residing in St. Louis, and Cindy (David) Johnson of Nashville, Tennessee, and Mark (Anne) Linenbroker of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Her legacy continues through ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Marvin Linenbroker, her mother, and her siblings.
Service and Community
A quiet presence in her church, Joannie volunteered diligently, helped in local food kitchens, and served for several years as Financial Secretary at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Eureka. All who knew her will remember her smile and willingness to help where needed.
Legacy
Joannie's gentle nature and steadfast faith left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Though she is gone from our midst, her memory will remain a source of kindness and hope in the hearts she touched.
