Large, John Wesley, age 70, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2026, in Steelville, Missouri.

Born on April 23, 1956, in Saint Louis, Missouri, John was a carpenter by trade and a man who appreciated hard work and good country living.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Phyllis Large. He is survived by his children, Jeremiah Large (Sheryl) and Jamie Large (Jim Volkerding), as well as his grandchildren, Jude and Scarlett Large.

Services: A visitation will be held at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in John's memory.
