With deep sorrow, we share the passing of Joseph Edward Jacob, 22, of Chesterfield, Missouri on April 5, 2026.

Born in Antitlán, Guatemala on March 9, 2004, Joe is the beloved son of Keith (Marty) Jacob and Christine Jacob both of Chesterfield, Missouri; cherished brother of Emily, Daniel (Courtney), William, and Grace Jacob; dear uncle of Tessa Jacob. Dear nephew of Donna and Scott Lay, Suzanne and Jeff Cavnar, Kelly and Dave Dillon; Godson of Rick and Kathy Swygman; a cousin and friend to many. Joe was preceded in death by his adoring maternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Ann Goedeker, and his paternal grandparents, Imogene St. Onge and Homer Jacob.

Joe graduated from Christian Brothers College High School in 2022, where he was actively involved in Brothers in Prayer; the cross country team, where he took pride in achieving his latest personal record; and the ultimate frisbee team. He went on to attend the University of Central Missouri. Joe touched the lives of all who knew him with his gentle, quiet, and thoughtful nature. He will be sorely missed.

Funeral Mass will be held at Ascension Catholic Church, 230 Santa Maria Drive, Chesterfield, Missouri, Monday, April 13th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. Masses preferred.
