Joseph Nickolas Lammert

Lammert, Joseph Nickolas, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Thursday, October 22, 2026. He was born in St. Louis, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth (nee Korte) Lammert. Joe was a retired journeyman electrician with IBEW, and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Valley Park.

He was the beloved husband of the late Rita (nee Farwig) Lammert, who preceded him in death February 3, 2014; dear father of the late Joann Hunter, Daniel (Pat) Lammert, Michele (Kevin) Green, Janet (David) Chambliss, Paul (Mary) Lammert, and John (Sharon) Lammert; brother of David (Rose) Lammert, the late Robert (Carol survives) Lammert, and the late James (Loretta) Lammert. Joe was also a loving grandfather of Austin (Abby), John, Katie (Patrick), Andrew (Elizabeth), Michael (Haley), Sean (Jill), Joey (Danielle), Nick (Lacie), Connor (Jessica), and Julia. Loving great grandfather of Luther and Lainey. Joe was also a devoted uncle, friend, and godfather.

Services: Memorial Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Valley Park, will be announced at a later date. In Joe's last act of love, he donated his body to the St. Louis University School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
