Obituary

Judith "Judy" Reis (Alexander), 83, of Ballwin, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her husband and children, one day before her 84th birthday.

Family was the heart of Judy's life. She treasured every opportunity to spend time with those she loved, whether celebrating holidays, sharing stories around the table, or enjoying dinners out with family and friends. She loved traveling throughout the region to see the sights, took great pride in tending to her beautiful flowers, and was known for keeping a warm, welcoming, and immaculate home.

Judy was the beloved wife of William Reis. Together, they shared 50 years of marriage and celebrated their golden anniversary in April, a milestone that reflected a lifetime of love, partnership, and devotion.

She was a loving mother to Jeffrey Walsh (Mary Jo), Douglas Walsh (Kimberly), and Amy Moss (Walsh). She was also a caring stepmother to Becky Reis (Duane Coberly), Bill Reis (Carla), and Roxanne Moonier (Kevin), and a cherished aunt to her nephew, Michael Alexander (Lisa).

She was a proud grandmother to Alexandra Canida (Cody), Riley Gederman (Tom), Kaitlyn Moss, Matthew Moss (Sarah), Benjamin Walsh, and Blake Lowe, and a loving great-grandmother to Knox and Nash Canida. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were among the greatest blessings of her life and held a very special place in her heart.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Mildred Alexander; her brother, Glenn Alexander; and her beloved niece, Pamela Alexander.

Judy's love will continue to live on through the family she cherished so deeply. She will be forever loved, deeply missed, and remembered always.
