Judy Sue
Taub (Née Jansing)
Feb 12, 1943 — Aug 28, 2025
Ballwin
Taub, Judy Sue (née Jansing), passed away, Thursday, August 28, 2025.
Beloved wife of Harry Taub; dearest mother of Meredith (Michael) Whitehead and Kurt (Lindsay) Taub; dear grandmother of Shane (Sam) Gutknecht, Harry Whitehead and August Taub; loving daughter of the late Clarence and Sue Jansing; sister of Carole (Brad) Deaver; sister-in-law of Trudy (the late Paul) Favazza; niece of Joanne Thomas; aunt of Derek (Kasey) Deaver, Trisha (Brady) Miller, Allison (Mike) Amann, Stephanie (Jason) Wells and Megan (Nik) Degler; our dear cousin and friend of many.
Born in Taylorville, Illinois and raised in St. Louis, Judy was a graduate of Riverview Gardens High School. Her marriage to her true love Harry endured for over 62 years. For over 25 years, Judy found excitement and joy in her job at FleishmanHillard public relations firm.
She had so much fun at work and always said she "would have paid them to allow her to work there."
Judy fiercely loved all her family and her vibrant personality extended well beyond her immediate family. She shared a very special relationship with her sister Carole, who was vigilantly by her side not only the last year, but also throughout their entire lives. Judy was a steadfast friend and confidante, always making those around her feel valued and heard. She loved spending time with friends (including her best friend/sister Carole), sharing laughter, and stories. Her life centered around her family and friends-Monday Mexican, Wednesday Lunch Bunch, Friday Happy Hour, the Fox Theatre group, Bunco gals, Golf League, Water Aerobics, Colorado ski trips, among her many interests.
She and Harry cultivated an extensive circle of friends, with whom they shared countless journeys around the world. Travelling was their passion.
Judy will be remembered as a woman of deep love and boundless generosity, a devoted grandmother, a wise soul with an extraordinary memory for life's moments, a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan, and a cherished friend to many.
