Kathleen Romae (Nicely) Sellenriek,age 73 of Manchester MO passed away on August 26, 2025.

From the moment she began her career as a nurse, Kathy dedicated herself to caring for others. Nursing wasn't just her job- it was her calling. She had a gift for making people feel comforted and cared for, a kindness and warmth she brought into every room she entered.

Kathy shared 52 years of marriage with Delwin D. Sellenriek whom she married on December 22, 1973. Her life journey was marked by both joy and challenges, but through it all, Del was by her side - a true testament to the vows they shared.

She found her happy place at the Lake of the Ozarks, where she enjoyed boating and relaxing by the water with friends. And of course, no memory of Kathy would be complete without her Pekinese dogs, who were her constant companions and brought her endless joy.

Not only a wife, Kathy was a mother of Beth (Ben) Ervin, Jennifer (Tim) Klingler and a grandmother of Brennan and Brody Ervin, Logan, Sophia and Weston Klingler.

She is survived by three siblings, Gary (Teri) Nicely, Brad Nicely, and Marcia Nicely and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother Virginia Hardwick and sister Barbara Nicely, who greeted her at Heaven's gate with open arms.

We appreciate the love, support and prayers for Kathy. She will be missed, lovingly remembered, and forever in our hearts.
