Obituary

Keith A Geller passed away peacefully at the way too young age of 61, after a lengthy neurological battle on September 27, 2025. Beloved husband of Patty for 37 years and loving father of Sam, Nick and Zoey.
He will be missed by his sisters Laura (Herb) Golterman, Patty (Dan) Geller-Boudria and Carey Timmerman. Keith was a fun uncle to Carey Ricks, Jennifer Greffet, Julie Caraffa, Melissa Anzalone, Chris and Shannon Sumpter, Jake Sigler, Madison, Daisy and Charolette Pryer, Lily, Elly and Joshua Podorski. He was a dear cousin, loyal colleague and caring friend to many.

Devoted to his faith, church and bible studies. Keith was present at every performance, musical, show, practice and game of his three children with a camcorder in hand.

His favorite things included making obscure movie and TV references, listening to music, especially going to concerts, spending time on the floor with all his cats over the years, watching every DC and Marvel movie, the St. Louis Cardinals, Mizzou Tigers, and controversially, still rooting for the Rams.
Keith collected thousands and thousands and thousands (no seriously, thousands) of comic books.

He enjoyed golfing, drawing elaborate cards for his family, reading comics books, Stephen King novels, comic books, Calvin and Hobbes and comic books.

Keith was a dedicated auditor for the Department of Defense for 30 years, where he was the editor, puzzle maker, trivia and "bad" joke creator of The Audit Scoop newsletter. Prior to this he edited the McCluer Scoop (where we now suspect he stole the name) as well as the newspaper at UMSL, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration in 1987. He then went on to earn his CPA, and received many awards to honor his hard work at DCAA.

Keith never let any of his illnesses slow him down and always had a positive attitude. Even after his first stroke in 2021, he still went to the Fantasy Shop, out to dinner and the movies all the time.

For the last three and a half years he absolutely loved working out at least four days a week at the Paraquad gym with the supportive and welcoming staff and countless friends that he made there.
