Obituary

Kenneth A. Polito, passed away, Thursday, October 23, 2025.

Beloved father of Ashley and Paige Polito.  Loving son of Jean (John) Morrell (nee Scarcella).  Dear brother of Phyllis (Danny) Duke, Michelle Morrell and Kristen Polito (Aman Jain).  Dearest uncle of Emily, Anna and Julia Duke.  Dear cousin of Michael Sims, Sherri (Joe) Polys, Joseph Sims and Steven (Samantha) Sims.  He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Phillip Polito; aunts, Joan (Joe) Sims and Dorothy Stead, and his grandparents, Leonardo and Vivian Scarcella.

Kenny was born June 6, 1964 in St. Louis, Missouri.  He graduated from Parkway South High School in 1982. Kenny enlisted in the United States Army on March 23, 1984 and was honorably discharged March 25, 1987.  He was stationed in Germany for most of his time spent in military service.

Kenny was a proud member of the IBEW Local 1, where he worked as a Technician during most of his career.  He was also actively involved as a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree, where he often volunteered his time helping with numerous charity events.

Throughout the years, Kenny found much joy in life hot-rodding in his Chevelle, playing hockey, watching the St. Louis Blues and listening to great music, especially RUSH.  He also had quite the sweet tooth and was always up for a sweet treat, especially ice cream!

Kenny was blessed in life with his two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Paige.  He was so proud of them and loved them deeply. They remember him as always saying, "It's a great day to be alive!"  Kenny was a spiritual man and found much peace reading the Bible and praying the rosary daily.  He will forever be remembered as a caring, kind and helpful person with a great capacity to love.  His memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Kenny's memory are appreciated.
