Kevin Andrew
Welde
May 11, 1971 — Apr 30, 2026
Chesterfield
Kevin Andrew Welde passed away leaving behind a lifetime of memories with those who knew and loved him. Though his passing brings deep sadness, Kevin will be remembered for his bold personality, humor, and the lasting impression he made on everyone he met.
Born on May 11, 1971, in Daytona Beach, Florida, Kevin spent his early years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, before moving with his family to St. Louis, Missouri, where he would go on to build his life and raise his family.
Kevin was a proud and loving father of Serena and Jackson Welde, who were among the most important parts of his life. He was the beloved son of Judith A. "Judi" Welde and the late Donald J. Welde. Kevin was a dear brother of Kim (Chris) Hawley and Craig (Jennifer) Welde, as well an uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Kevin was known for his outgoing nature, quick wit, and strong presence. He had a way of telling stories and bringing energy into any room. He lived life on his own terms, with a personality that made him truly one of a kind.
Kevin found happiness in simple, familiar routines. He loved fishing—especially at Busch Wildlife —where he could unwind and enjoy the quiet. He also enjoyed playing pool and golf, watching the St. Louis Cardinals, the St. Louis Blues, and his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles. Kevin found his greatest joy in time spent with his children, sharing meals-especially crab legs, attending sporting events, and playing games together.
Those who knew Kevin will remember his humor, his confidence, and the way he made everyday life more interesting. His presence was unmistakable, and his memory will live on through the stories, laughter, and moments shared with him.
