Linda Lee
Pineda (Nee Hisel)
Jun 27, 1951 — Sep 4, 2026
Ballwin
Linda Lee Pineda (nee Hisel) entered eternal rest on Friday, September 4, 2026.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Vic Pineda; her daughter, Alicia "Ali" (Pineda) Mueller; son-in-law Chris Mueller; and her beloved grandchildren, Brooks Mueller and Mason Mueller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Marie Hisel. Her mother-in-law Alicia Pineda and father-in-law Alfredo Pineda.
Linda was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Kenneth and Marie Hisel. She graduated from Webster Groves High School before attending St. Luke's School of Nursing, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. She later continued her education at The Barnes Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). Linda dedicated more than 40 years to a career in nursing and anesthesia, caring for patients at Missouri Baptist Medical Center and through Ballas Anesthesia. She retired in 2013, leaving behind a career marked by compassion, dedication, and care for others.
Linda was vivacious, funny, kind, and thoughtful. She had a gift for bringing light and laughter wherever she went and will always be remembered as a living ray of sunshine-bright and warm. To know her was to love her. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, grammy, and friend to many. She treasured time with her family and took great joy in the simple pleasures of life.
Among her many passions, Linda loved reading, scuba diving, and traveling the world with her other half, Vic. She treasured attending shows at The Fox Theater with her daughter, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals with her family, spending time with her beloved dogs, and escaping to her second home in Panama City Beach, Florida as much as she could. Above all, she cherished time with her grandbabies, who lovingly knew her as Grammy. The beach was truly her happy place-a place where she found peace, joy, and made countless cherished memories with those she loved.
Linda's laughter, warmth, kindness, and zest for life touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her beautiful spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends, in the memories they made, and in the joy she brought into their lives. For those who loved her most, the world will be forever different without its brightest beam of sunlight, but her light will continue to shine through all who knew and cherished her.
