Obituary

Parker, Lorraine "Taffy" Colman, 100, passed away, Sunday, May 17, 2026.

Beloved wife of the late Grant Parker; devoted mother of Curt (Deborah) Parker, Jim Parker, Bret Parker, and Mariellen (Ron) Jacobs; cherished grandmother of Clark Jacobs, Kelsey Jacobs, Gretchen Taylor, Cassidy Parker Smith, Lacey Parker, and Rachel Parker; loving great grandmother of Dot, George, Liam, Grace, Grant, and Molly; dear sister of Marilyn Charlier; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Taffy was born to Miles and Lillie Bell Colman in St. Petersburg, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant, her three brothers, Ishmael, Curtis, and Hubert. Taffy didn't know a stranger and was happiest when surrounded by family and her many friends she held so dear. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude and thanks to the staff members of American House at Wildwood Village and Heartland Hospice for the amazing care and support they provided to Taffy and to us in her final days.
