Marcus Patrick Johnson was born on November 10, 1975, in Kirkwood, Missouri, and spent his life in Valley Park, Missouri.

Marcus grew up with a deep love for baseball, playing the sport through college. He had a natural passion for creating and designing, which expressed itself in many forms like woodworking, drawing, and building cars and guns. Even after becoming paralyzed, Marcus remained active and determined, participating in wheelchair softball, tennis, and basketball for many years. He was a very hands-on uncle who took great joy in teaching Jordan, Ashley, Brittany, and Michael how to ride a bike.

Known for his witty sense of humor and quick jokes, Marcus had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. He was a beloved cousin, nephew, and friend to many.

Marcus is preceded in death by his loving mother, Alice Johnson, and is survived by his father, Jerry Johnson; his sister, Buffy Johnson; his sister and brother-in-law, Chandra and Chris Webster; his nephews and nieces, Jordan Johnson, Ashley Webster, Brittany & Carter Ziegler, and Michael Webster & Allison Carew; and his great-nephews and great-nieces, Quinn & Grayson Sahr and Charles & Harrison Ziegler.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
