Talluto, Margaret A. (nee Giesler), passed away surrounded by loved ones, Thursday, October 8, 2026.
Beloved wife of Anthony Talluto for 53 years; devoted mother of Peter Talluto; dear sister of Edwin (Marilyn) Giesler, George (Barbara) Giesler, and Richard (Nicole) Giesler; dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Margaret retired from Union Electric/Ameren UE where she worked for over 40 years. She lived a life woven with creativity, passion, and immense warmth. She passed away leaving behind a tapestry of rich memories, gentle kindness, and artistic legacy that touched everyone who knew her.
Margaret was, above all, a maker and a creator. Her hands were rarely still, forever engaged in turning raw materials into extraordinary works of beauty. She found joy in the intricate details of miniatures, the patient artistry of quilting, the soft textures of felting, and the steady rhythm of sewing. Every piece she crafted carried a piece of her spirit - thoughtful, deliberate, and full of care.
Her passion for crafting went far beyond personal pastime; it was an extension of her heart with her involvement with Project Linus. Margaret dedicated countless hours to making handmade blankets for children in need of comfort and warmth.
Margaret's creativity was matched only by her love for her family and friends. Her physical presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will endure.
