Como, Marguerite (nee Curl), passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Como; mother of John (Gina Squires) Como, Donna (Steven) Stites, and Annette Como; grandmother of Nicole (Brandon) Vahl, Lindsey Florio, Alyssa Como, Natalie (Charlie) Jarosz, and Sarah (Scott) Sease; great grandmother of Alexandra Vahl, Oliver Vahl, Lincoln Florio and Logan Sease; dearest cousin and friend to Rena Bologna and Anita Clark.

Born on May 20, 1933 in New York City to Nicholas and Annette Curl, Marguerite lived a life defined by family, love, kindness and devotion. Marguerite graduated from Evander Childs High School, Bronx, New York and entered the work force, before marrying Nicholas Como in 1953. After staying home to raise her children, she went back to work and had a long career helping and serving others. She found joy in dancing, bowling, reading, knitting and music. Those who knew her will remember her gentle spirit, warm smile, and generosity. Marguerite will be truly missed.

Services: A celebration of life will be held at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, at the Family Center, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Saturday, August 15, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Plant Trees.
