Marlo J. Montabon

Marlo J. Montabon

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marlo Montabon on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, after a sudden illness at the age of 58. She was on the trip of a lifetime in Casablanca, Morocco.

Marlo was one of two children born to Pat and Eugene Montabon, and she is survived by her brother Chad, her children Hank and Ruth, and her husband Phil Robinson. She lived a life defined by commitment. Her family, friends, hobbies, and work all somehow enjoyed 100% of Marlo. Those who knew her will attest that her lawn and gardens were the envy of the neighborhood. Her children knew from experience that she would go to any lengths for them, her friends knew she was always there for them, and her work knew that she could always be relied on. Marlo was a force of nature who did it all with a grace and kindness that lingered on all the lives she touched.

Her husband grieves the loss of his partner and travel companion, they’d only just begun their globetrotting retirement. Her children grieve the loss of a lifetime worth of guidance and know how. Her friends and family grieve the loss of a cherished presence. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider a donation to The St. Louis Art Museum.

The family will receive friends at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin on Thursday, October 22, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Family and friends may sign the on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.
