Fornwalt , Marvin W., in the arms of his savior on Sunday, February 1, 2026.  Born on July 22, 1940 in Decatur, IL to Wesley and Rosalyn Fornwalt.

Beloved husband of Kathy Fornwalt (nee Finn); dear father of Brent (Kristin) Fornwalt of Wildwood, MO and Scott (Laura) Fornwalt of Newcastle, OK; loving grandfather of Grace (Dylan) Baker, Luke (Rebecca) Fornwalt, Brynne Fornwalt, Mia Fornwalt and the late Teddie Fornwalt; great-grandfather of Lou Marie, Tatum Rose and Malachi Michael Baker; brother of Roger (Barbara) Fornwalt, Marilyn (Don) Kredel and Ida (Steve) Oakes;  Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Marvin attended Wheaton College and graduated from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS.  He went on to receive several professional designations including CPA, CLU, CFO and FINOP.  After more than 30 years in the business world, he joined the staff of Covenant Theological Seminary as Director of Planned Giving.

Services: Memorial service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pathfinder Church, Ellisville .
