Belsher, Mary Jane, of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away, Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Friendship Village, Sunset Hills. Mary Jane was born April 8, 1933 to Jacob A. and Lyla P. Henderson in Minier, IL. After high school, she attended and graduated from Illinois Commercial College, Champaign-Urbana, IL in 1951. Her first job after graduation was as a secretary for the University of Illinois flight training program at Willard Airport. While working at the airport Mary Jane would see the Ozark Air Lines planes arriving and departing. When she learned that Ozark was hiring flight attendants (stewardesses) she applied and was hired. While Mary Jane was working as a stewardess, she met Thaddeus R. "Bob" Belsher a Captain at Ozark. They were married October 21, 1958, an era during which stewardesses were not allowed to continue working after marriage. Later, Mary Jane resumed secretarial work for the Parkway and Special School Districts.

Mary Jane is survived by her children: Joseph Robert, husband of Crystal Belsher of Augusta, MO, Christina Kay, wife of Kevin Krisinger of Henderson, NV and James Bradley, husband of Mary Boyce-Belsher of Palo Cedro, CA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren: Joseph II, Jeremy, Shannon, Jason, Jennifer, Katie, Maya, Cassie and by two great grandchildren: Matthew and Owen.

Services: Visitation at the SCHRADER Funeral Home, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Monday, December 29, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment the following day, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Tuesday, December 30, 2025, 11:00 a.m. If desired, contributions may be made to St. John United Church of Christ, Manchester, MO .
