Mary Lou Nichoalds (née Short) passed away on Monday, August 31, 2026.

She was the beloved wife of the late Donald Nichoalds, dear mother of the late Tracy Nichoalds, and cherished grandmother of Bonnie Nichoalds. She is survived by her granddaughter Bonnie and her older sister Bonnie (the late Lucius) Morse. She was sister-in-law of Danielle (the late Ron) Schardan and the late David Nichoalds.

Mary was raised by her loving parents, Ernest and Barbara Short, on their farm in Bixby, MO, with her five siblings: Donna, Nadine, Carmen, Bonnie, and Norman. She adored her husband, daughter, granddaughter, siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mary enjoyed reading, collecting antique dolls, managing family finances, keeping a clean home & beautiful yard, and caring for her loved ones. Above all, she loved God and her family.

Services: Funeral Service at the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Friday, September 11, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. with visitation prior from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service.
