Scheffing, Mary Helen (nee Adler), passed away, Wednesday, July 8, 2026.  She was born in Kansas City MO, the daughter of Edwin Ferdinand and Maxine Catherine (nee Tierney) Adler.  Helen and Donald Scheffing were married August 24, 1968, at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Richmond Heights.  She worked as a Judicial Administrative Assistant at the Missouri Eastern District Court of Appeals until she retired in 2007. Helen and Don enjoyed activates together such as; traveling to numerous destination, playing golf, which she had the only hole-in-one, visiting grandchildren, and wintering in the Villages FL.

She is the beloved wife of Donald George Scheffing; dear mother of Robert Andrew Scheffing, and Ann Marie Sharp and husband Bruce Stephen Sharp; proud grandmother of Morgan Jenae Durham and husband Noah, and Colton Lane Sharp; loving sister to Mary Margaret Hannah.

Visitation Thursday July 16 4:00-8:00 pm.  Funeral service Friday, July 17, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery 6901 MacKenzie Road St Louis MO.
