Mary Hawkey Sosa went to be with our Lord and her Mom & Dad on 8/25/2026. She is survived by her loving son Jack and her siblings Katie, Frankie, John, Maggie (Greg) Uptain, Ann (Jim Powers) and Chris, her nieces and nephews Tristan Nolan, Jordan (Dillyn) Bequette, Ben Uptain, Marissa Uptain, and her great niece and nephew Addie and Tatum along with Dave Sosa, stepdaughter Liz Sosa, mother-in-law Lillie Saletzki, and the many, many friends and family that defined her life.

Mary lived a life centered around her son Jack who pushed and encouraged her in all things. She was known for the love and care that she showed others, especially Jack and her dogs. She would do anything for her friends and family and even strangers that were in need.  She may have had some struggles on the journey, but she always picked herself up and moved forward. She will be missed by all as she now finds peace with Mom and Dad and her fur babies Tinka, Yadi and Chloe.

Services: In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter in Mary's name. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 30th from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. followed immediately by the funeral service. The visitation and funeral service will be held in the FAMILY CENTER at SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory and is located in the back of the parking lot behind the main building, 14960 Manchester Rd.
