Michael S. Greco, affectionately known as Mike, passed away on October 30, 2026, at the age of 83. A devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, successful businessman, and man of deep Christian faith, Mike lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, strength, and an unwavering love for his family.
Born on September 16, 1943, Mike was the youngest of five children born to the late John and Lena Greco. He was a beloved brother of Rose Bruno (Greco), Santa Jane Greco, Santa Jean Ogle (Greco), and Andy Greco.
Mike shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Janeine Greco. Together, they built a life centered on love, faith, and family. He was the proud father of four children: Jon Greco (Amy), Don Greco (Linda), Jeff Myracle (Jamie), and Michelle Sneathen (Cameron). Raising three sons and a daughter was among his greatest accomplishments, and he took tremendous pride in watching them build families of their own while carrying forward the values he instilled in them.
Mike was a loving grandfather of thirteen grandchildren: Hannah Seeley (Kane), Jonah Greco, Zachary Ownby (Courtney), Gavin Sneathen, Liam Myracle, Angelena Sneathen, Cecilia Myracle, Hattie Myracle, Blakeley Sneathen, Owen Sneathen, Ashley Mealer, JR Mealer, and Hannah Clark; and a proud great-grandfather of five great-grandchildren: Boaz and Micah Seeley, Joy, Faith, and Hope Cody.
A hardworking, self-made man, Mike spent more than 50+ years in the printing industry. He began his career operating printing presses before moving into sales, where his natural ability to connect with people helped him flourish. He eventually founded Greco Graphics, a successful printing brokerage he owned and operated for 20 years. His career reflected his determination, entrepreneurial spirit, and belief in building lasting relationships through honesty and hard work.
Despite his professional success, Mike's greatest pride was always his family. He was the ultimate family man. Whether offering guidance, lending a helping hand, or simply being there when needed, his family always knew they could count on him.
Faith was always a part of Mike's life. Growing up in St. Louis, he attended St. Gabriel Catholic School and St. Gabriel Catholic Church, where his Christian foundation began. Throughout his adult life, he continued his faith as a devoted member of Manchester United Methodist Church. His belief in Jesus Christ guided the way he lived and raised his family, instilling the importance of love for others, faith, compassion, and forgiveness.
Mike's greatest legacy lives on through the family he raised and the generations that follow. The values and beliefs he passed down to his children continue through his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, ensuring his influence will be felt for years to come.
Mike was also the ultimate fighter. He faced cancer with courage and determination, defeating the disease three separate times. When cancer returned for a fourth time, he refused to give up without a fight. For two and a half years, he battled with incredible strength, resilience, and an unwavering will to live. His fighting spirit reflected the man he had always been-strong, determined, and unwilling to back down from life's greatest challenges. His courage throughout his battle was an inspiration to his family and everyone who knew him.
Though his passing leaves an immeasurable void, his family finds comfort in his unwavering faith and the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ.
Mike will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” - 2 Timothy 4:7
