Moore, Michael J. "Mick", baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at the age of 84.
Beloved husband for 56 years of Mary Lou Moore (nee Bippen); loving father of Michael (Melanie Murphy) Moore, Maggie (David) Gohn (nee Moore), Mark (Cristina) Moore, Matthew Moore and Molly (Patrick) Shuff (nee Moore); dear grandfather of Mary Claire Gohn, Samuel Gohn, Elizabeth Gohn, John Moore, Daniel Moore, Alessandra Moore, Isabella Moore, Patrick Shuff Jr., Catherine Shuff and Alexandra Shuff; son of the late Gerard "Bud" and the late Betty Moore (nee Hinkamp); loving brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.
Mick was a proud graduate of Benedictine College, where he was later inducted into the Benedictine Athletic Hall of Fame for soccer, an honor he cherished. However, he was most proud of his service in U.S. Army Intelligence, for which he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was also an active and dedicated volunteer with the Knights of Columbus. Above all, Mick treasured the time he spent with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren, as well as the many friends who enriched his life. He will be remembered for his service, devotion to family, and lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
