Beloved wife of the late Bob Heitkamp. Devoted mother of Mike (Kathy), Joan (Joe) Grass, Bill (Ane), Ken (Mary) and Tom. Cherished grandmother of John (Tennille), Laurie (Frank) Huskey, Erin (Chris) Brooks, Dr. Anne Grass, Dan (Mandi) Grass, Kevin (Ashley) Grass, Charles (Andrea), Caroline, Brittany (Joe) Kenney, Courtney (Matt) Sockoch, Kelsey (Derrick) Stoddard, Logan (Billi) and great-grandmother of 17 great-grandchildren. Loving aunt and friend.

Nancy lived her life for her family. Her thoughtfulness and generosity blessed us all, most especially at mealtimes. Nancy was famous for her hearty home cooking, cookie press Christmas trees and Crisco pie crust perfection. Just like her rollerblade 60th birthday party, she was fun loving and fearless. She believed in doing right and doing things the right way. Nancy possessed a strong Catholic father which sustained her throughout her life and directed her always onward.
