Nancy Jane Lich

Nancy Jane Lich (nee Hamer), 101, of St. Louis Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Born on May 24, 1925 in Mitchell Indiana to the late Josephine and Frank Hamer.

Nancy married the love of her life on July 10, 1948, to Jack Lich. Together they shared their love for over 50 years.

They had two children, Charles and James Lich. Nancy rarely missed a soccer game, school play, or a chance to remind her children how proud she was of them. Her four grandchildren knew her as Nana and she treasured every moment spent with them, whether baking some cookies, reading a bedtime story, or cheering from the stands.

She is survived by her child James Lich, daughter-in-law Jill Lich, grandchildren Eric and Brian Lich, and great daughters-in-law, Sarah and Alexandra, and great grandchildren Logan, Lucy, Henry, and Eva. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Josephine Hamer and brother Lev Hamer.
