Patricia Hicks (nee Drago) of Manchester, MO, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025, at the age of 93. She was the devoted mother of Karen Marie (Robert) Smith, Keith (Tracy) Kalkbrenner, and honorary mother to Chris

Kalkbrenner; loving grandmother of Vince (Tamara) Smith, Melissa (Jon) Andrews-Smith, Sarah (Blake) Svaboda, Cole (Erin) Kalkbrenner, and Cory Kalkbrenner; and the cherished great-grandmother of Ilan, Sky, and Sage Smith, Brenner and Dominic Svaboda, Levi Curtain, (son of Cole and Erin Kalkbrenner), and Carly Kalkbrenner.

Throughout her life, Pat demonstrated incredible strength and resilience as a single mother. Her commitment to her faith and family helped her achieve success in all her endeavors, constantly seeking to grow in her chosen career and finding adventure in every challenge.

She was a selfless friend, always willing to help others in need and often sharing her holiday table with whomever found themselves alone. She gave of herself at every opportunity, and she made friends with everyone she met, whether it was a new neighbor or a new cashier at the local Costco. Her strength, resilience, impeccable style, and fierce commitment to family is a legacy she has left to her children, their children, and generations to come.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road, Ballwin on Monday, November 17, 2025 at 11:30 a.m.  A reception will be held at the funeral home's FAMILY CENTER immediately following the memorial service.   Private interment.  Please visit Schrader.com to sign the online guest book.
