Patrick Conroy

Patrick Conroy passed away at home, in his sleep, on October 26, 2026.

He is predeceased by beloved son, Casey Stephen, his parents, Michael and Kitty Conroy, and his brothers David and John Conroy.

He will be sadly missed and gratefully remembered by his wife, Kerrie Conroy and his daughter Erin Sheahan, son-in-law, John Sheahan, grandchildren, Quinn and Aidan Sheahan, his brothers and sisters, Seamus, Michael, Mary, Noel, Carmel, Paul, Kevin and Brendan, sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbors too many to count both in the United States and in Ireland.

Pat met Kerrie while she was vacationing in Ireland. He moved to the United States in 1981, where they married and raised two loving and devoted children, Casey and Erin. His grandchildren, Quinn Margaret and Aidan Patrick kept him going for the last years of his life. They were his oxygen.

While Pat's home and life were in St. Louis, his love for Ireland and his Irish family and friends never diminished.

Pat worked for 25 years as a restaurant manager before discovering his creative talent. Pat wrote numerous plays, several of which were staged around St. Louis and in Nashville. He wrote over 1000 poems, many which have been collected and published in four books of poetry and a children's book. He taught himself how to create art from scraps of bicycles, wood, bedframes, and kitchen items. His artwork is displayed in the homes of many of those he loved.

Pat will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who loved him and knew him.

Pat's ashes will be scattered in sacred places in St. Louis and Ballina, County Tipperary, Ireland- . his favorite places on this earth.

We love you Pat. Always and forever.
